3、irectly to 5.5G and build on experience gathered from hundreds of other 5G network deployments around the world.Despite the absence of 5G in the Turkish market,Huawei seized the opportunity to highlight forward-looking solutions,including advancements that are ahead of current industry trends.The co
4、mpany unveiled new radio infrastructure,new passive and active antennas,next-generation Artificial Intelligence(AI)-driven network automation models,and core network enhancements,reaffirming its commitment to innovation even as its access to Western markets remains restricted.The question is,who sta
5、nds to lose more from Huaweis restricted access:Huawei itself or Western operators missing out on its success in China?To explore this question,we can look at Huaweis impact on the Chinese market,where 5G Standalone(SA)was deployed from the outset.Chinese operators have launched new applications and
6、 services,including network slicing capabilities that have enabled innovative offerings like VIP plans.Huawei claims these are now commercial for travel,live events,and gaming use cases,priced at around US$8.50 monthly to guarantee prioritized traffic.Another example includes dedicated stadium packa
7、ges,which offer users a steady 10 Megabits per Second(Mbps)connection for 4 hours at approximately US$11.These capabilities are made possible by 5G-Advanced(or 5.5G),which is already operational in major Chinese cities.The innovations showcased at the MBBF 2024 make it clear that Huawei is not only
8、continuing to drive mobile network innovation,but is doing so with renewed focus and speed.In contrast,many Western operators are still navigating the challenges of 5G monetization,network slicing trials,and Application Programming Interface(API)integrationinitiatives that,as of now,have yielded lim

12、my through digital sites and Radio Access Network(RAN)Intelligent Agents.Massive Multiple Input,Multiple Output(MIMO)has been an integral part of 5G networks and continues to spark significant operator deployments globally,leading to widespread improvements in capacity,coverage,and user experience.O
13、f the 10 solutions announced as part of Huaweis 5G-AA solutions,the following were Massive MIMO innovations:1)Sub-1 Gigahertz(GHz)Massive MIMO:This innovative solution builds a ubiquitous foundational layer for Mobile AI.The industrys first 16T16R solution aims to address the many technical challeng
14、es to meet deployment requirements for site engineering,bringing Massive MIMO to low bands and allowing for improved uplink,downlink,and low-latency experiences,while also offering extensive coverage.Sub-1 GHz is considered the“golden spectrum,”owned by all operators with huge potential for enhancin
15、g spectral efficiency previously only addressed via Remote Radio Units(RRUs).2)Blade AAU X:This solution is the industrys first product using a single antenna to support Massive MIMO across all sub-6 GHz bands.Furthermore,this solution can be deployed on a single pole,requiring 50%less site space an
