19、ions,concerns,and potential for adoption.The AMA deliberately uses augmented intelligence to emphasize that these tools support rather than replace human decision-making.The AMA study found that physicians are currently using or planning to use AI tools that focus on reducing administrative burdens.
20、The AMA study also highlights the top areas where physicians plan to implement augmented intelligence in the next five years:generate patient messages(40%have plans),summarize charts(39%have plans),and predict demand and workforce needs(43%have plans).However,adopting augmented intelligence requires

23、a serious problem,made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic and physician burnout.The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects:Physician burnout is a major public health issue that can lead to depression and other concerning mental health conditions.The 2024 Medscape Physician Burnout and Depression Report sho
