7、of Google Play apps being delisted in a single quarter,compared to an average delisting rate of 8%in previous quarters,a fourfold increase.In Q2 2024,74%of delisted apps were abandoned(not updated in over two years),up from just 25%a year ago in Q2 2023.Thus,only 15%of available apps in Q2 2024 were

8、 abandoned,a substantial decrease from over 40%last year.Furthermore,433k(39%)delisted apps in Q2 2024 had not been updated in the last four years,compared to just 6%in Q2 2023.Additionally,18k delisted apps had wallpaper or screensaver keywords in their titles.However,this represents only 37%of the

9、 total number of these apps,as 30k low functionality apps with these titles are still available for download from Google Play as of the end of Q2 2024Recent changes to Google Play policies,announced on July 17,2024,have introduced stricter standards for app quality,transparency,and security.These up
