5、isfaction,bolster institutional branding,and influence enrollment and retention.Across India,higher education leaders recognize the critical role of micro-credentials in equipping graduates with the skills and knowledge for workforce success.Nearly all(98%)leaders offering micro-credentials agree th

6、at these credentials strengthen students long-term career outcomes.This recognition is driving the integration of micro-credentials into university curricula.Many Indian institutions,including Acharya Institutes,Chitkara University,and Vishwakarma University,are using Coursera for Campus to seamless

7、ly incorporate micro-credentials into their academic programs.Further,the report reveals that 52%of Indian leaders whose institutions currently offer micro-credentials provide credit-bearing options,while 94%indicate plans to do so within the next five years.This aligns with the growing recognition

123、 at institutions around the globe to gain valuable insights into their perspectives on micro-credentials.The survey explored various aspects of micro-credentials in higher education,including implementation trends,attitudes toward for-credit adoption,broader impact on campus,and institutional challe

124、nges to integration.We collected responses from 1,058 higher education leaders in our database,representing a diverse range of institutions and roles from 852 institutions across 89 countries.The online survey was conducted between April 11 and May 9,2024,with the majority of responses collected bet

125、ween April 26 and May 2.Respondents included department heads,professors,deans,vice presidents,presidents,and other key decision-makers in higher education institutions.The survey garnered widespread participation,with the United States and India providing the largest number of responses at 333 and

126、183 respectively,followed by countries such as Mexico,Colombia,and the Philippines.Given the distribution of responses,we created a dedicated report for higher education leaders in India.Our global sample size of 1,058 leaders enabled us to obtain results with an industry-standard range of error at

127、a 95%confidence level.Where useful,we compared findings from higher education leaders surveyed with the perspectives of employers and students.While this survey provides critical insights into global higher education perspectives on micro-credentials,it does not include a comprehensive review of pol
