12、 sector plays a pivotal role in Sin-gapore,contributing approximately 1.4 per cent of Singapores Gross Domestic Prod-uct.It encompasses 15,860 enterprises and sustains a workforce of 116,000 individuals.With Asia experiencing remarkable econom-ic growth,it is anticipated to foster a bur-geoning cons

13、umer market which will include 3.2 billion people in the middle-class seg-ment by 2030.1 This projected surge in con-sumer demands propels growth within the industry,consequently generating employ-ment opportunities for the sector.In 2022,the Retail Industry Transformation Map(ITM)2025 was launched,
