2、allenge that respects no national borders.To achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda,all nations need to take actions to address climate change and its impacts now.The Chinese government attaches great importance to addressing climate change by setting it as a strategic goal concerning econo
3、mic and social development while considering green andlow-carbon development as an essential aspect of ecological civilization.China pledges to achieve carbon peak before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060.可持續發展教育對于促進氣候行動至關重要。青少年是未來世界的創造者與建設者,秉承著“改變思維,而非氣候”的理念,聯合國教科文組織教借助其在教育、科學、文化、傳播和信息領域的強大網絡,
4、一直致力于加強青少年在氣候變化方面的能力建設。Education for Sustainable Development(ESD)is essential to promote climate action.As the creators and builders of the future world,youth play a significant role.Youth are the future.In the spirit of“Changing the minds,not the climate”,UNESCO has been committed to empowering the
5、 young generation to tackle climate change,supported by its robust networks in education,sciences,culture,communication and information.1/-I I BEJ/2024/SC/PI/122022年6月,在中國青少年發展基金會-梅賽德斯-奔馳星愿基金資助下“助力碳中和:可持續發展創新行動”項目第一期(2022-2025年)正式啟動。本項目將通過基于可持續發展教育開展的“助力青少年氣候行動”“森林保護行動”和“保護熱帶雨林生物多樣性行動”等活動內容,填補中國碳中和行
6、動的重要空白,在切實推進氣候變化教育和為師生氣候變化賦能的同時,為中國和世界的氣候變化教育以及可持續發展教育做出示范,以自下而上的方式助力聯合國2030可持續發展目標,包括SDG13(氣候變化),SDG4(優質教育),SDG11(可持續的城市與社區),SDG14(水下生態保護),SDG15(陸地生態保護)和SDG17(伙伴關系)等一系列目標的實現。項目旨在促進青少年的能力建設、知識交流和技能創新,通過可持續發展教育、氣候變化教育、環境教育和全球公民教育,提高青少年對減少碳足跡、生態環境保護、生物多樣性保護、人與自然和諧共生的認知,并開展可以在國際范圍內共享和適用的良好實踐案例。234In Ju
7、ne 2022,the first phase(2022-2025)of the“Accelerating Carbon Neutrality:Innovative Actions for Sustainable Development”project was officially launched under the sponsorship of the China Youth Development Foundation-Mercedes-Benz Star Fund.This project will fill the gap of Chinas carbon neutrality ac
8、tion through activities such as“Accelerating youth climate action”,“Forest Protection Action”and“Tropical Rainforest biodiversity conservation action”and make a pilot for climate change education and sustainable development education in China and the world by empowering institutions and community re
9、sidents,including women,children and youth,and contribute to the realization of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)in a bottom-up manner,including SDG 1(No Poverty),SDG 4(Quality Education),SDG 5(Gender Equality),SDG 10(Reduced Inequalities),SDG 11(Sustainable Cities and Communities),SDG
10、 13(Climate Action),SDG 14(Life below Water),SDG 15(Life on Land)and SDG 17(Partnerships for the Goals).The project aims to promote youth capacity in innovation and communication skills.Moreover,it seeks to increase young peoples awareness on how to reduce carbon footprint,protecting the environment
11、,conserving biodiversity and promoting man-nature harmony through education for sustainable development,climate change,environmental protection and global citizenship education.Additionally,the project aims to explore best practices that can be shared and applied internationally.34通過“助力青少年氣候行動”賦能青年職
12、業者、兒童和大學生在氣候行動中的力量,擴大氣候變化和環保教育的影響力。動員中國兒童青少年成為綠色低碳理念的傳播者和低碳生活方式的踐行者,以實際行動和措施推動綠色低碳轉型。The project aims to empower young professionals,university students and children in climate action through the“Accelerating youth climate action”,with the goal of promoting climate and environmental education.Togeth
13、er with the whole society,the project mobilizes Chinese children and youth to become champions for green concepts and practitioners of low-carbon lifestyles,to promote low-carbon and eco-friendly transformation through down-to-earth efforts.4OBJECTIVES項目目標/56通過森林保護行動,將森林保護教育活動融入中小學教育。動員全社會積極參與生態環境保護

15、forestation and resource protection,thus advancing practical actions towards an eco-friendly society.56通過保護熱帶雨林生物多樣性行動,支持海南政府構建綠色低碳可持續發展模式。通過對野生動物及其棲息地的監測和評估,推動海南熱帶雨林恢復和生物多樣性保護的實施,并提供能力建設,加強熱帶雨林國家公園與世界生物圈保護區網絡的聯系與合作。Through the“Tropical Rainforest biodiversity conservation action”,the project suppor
16、ts the Hainan government in building a green,low-carbon and sustainable development model.It promotes the restoration of tropical rainforests and biodiversity conservation in Hainan by monitoring and evaluating wildlife and their habitats.The project also provides capacity buiding on ecosystem prote
17、ction and fosters collaboration between National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest and the World Biosphere Reserve network.加強與學術機構、政府部門、中小學校及研究機構的聯系與合作,發揮不同部門的能動性和影響力,助力雙碳目標,推動全球氣候變化治理的行動和倡議。通過專家交流、政策研究和培訓、舉辦國際青年論壇等,協助學術和研究機構培養生態環保人才。It also seeks to establish sound networks with academia,policymak
18、ers,local schools and institutions to pool strengths toward the shared target of tackling climate change.The project also aims to assist academic and research institutions in cultivating talents majoring in ecological conservation through exchanges with climate experts,policy research,training,and o
19、rganizing international youth forums.78聯合國教科文組織將與國際高等學府及政府部門合作,通過志愿者宣講支教、氣候變化大講堂、氣候創新馬拉松、聯合國氣候變化大會模擬談判等活動,提升青少年未來世界公民意識,鼓勵青少年科技創新,宣傳綠色低碳理念,踐行環保低碳生活方式,推動綠色低碳轉型。項目擬在五個國家公園所在地各選擇一所中學和一所小學開展合作試點行動。試點成功實施后再推廣到全國。UNESCO will cooperate with universities globally and government departments to raise young pe
20、oples awareness of future global citizenship,to encourage scientific and technological innovation,to promote green and low-carbon concepts,to practice environmental friendly and low-carbon lifestyles,and to boost green and low-carbon transformation through volunteer preaching/teaching education(publ
21、ic welfare lectures),global climate change lecture hall,hackathon climate innovation marathons and Model Climate Change Conference of Parties(MCCCOP).The project plans to recruite a group of volunteer students from universities,and choose students from secondary and primary schools,to carry out volu

24、o participate in green activities such as afforestation and forest resource conservation,and to promote ecological civilization through the power of youth.UNESCO and the national parks will jointly establish practice platforms for ecological conservation education.UNESCO and the National Parks will
