4、setting to be identified in the report.GHG Categories:Scope 1(direct emissions from owned or controlled sources),Scope 2(indirect emissions from generation of purchased energy),Scope 3(indirect emissions from the value chain-upstream and downstream)Quantification&Measurement:use measurements or emis
5、sion factors to quantify GHG emissions.Base Year Performance Indicators to track emissions reductions and improvements over time.Reporting Transparency:disclosing methodologies,data sources and any changes in calculation methodologies over time.Understanding Carbon FootprintSustainability is importa

9、f global sustainability.We are not there yet(Motivation)CO2 quantification methods for IT infrastructure Preferred method whenever feasible,especially for significant emissions sources such as industrial processes.However,many HW manufacturers dont have these type of telemetry.Tier 2.Use engineering
10、 calculations and activity data.Based on specific emission factors relevant to the source.Including calculations based on process-specific data and/or industry standards.Tier 3.Rely on generic emission factors and activity data.Derived from industry averages,national databases or published literatur
11、e.Default Emission Factors.Generic values representing average emissions per unit of activity for a particular source.Do not represent site-specific conditions or technology.Direct request to ODMs of Product-level-data first or any of the following type of data in order of preference and accuracy.Fr
